Fall Color Tour-Old Mission Peninsula Style

Center Road Farm Market
Nothing is more beautiful than Fall~and no where is more beautiful to experience Fall than the Old Mission Peninsula in Northwestern Michigan!  The Old Mission Peninsula is doted with farm stands, lovely old farmhouses, rolling hills and best of all WINERIES!!!  This region is gaining national exposure and acceptance for it's award winning Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Gewürztraminer, sparkling varieties and the prestigious ice wines.

I was able to sneak away from the Applesauce Inn B&B last week while my Mom and Dad visited and we spent the day along the 19 mile drive from Traverse City to the very tip of the peninsula where the Old Mission Lighthouse is.  It was a gorgeous day, and you could see forever......

The Fall color was just starting to pop....and from I am told...it is in full swing this week!  Don't miss it!!
Hope you will be inspired to come up North Michigan and enjoy all that this beautiful state has to offer!!  We have plenty of room at the Applesauce Inn B&B~so come join us~~
