This amazing little historic fishtown is 145 years old!!  Gary and I headed out to visit this cool area yesterday!  The sun was shining just for us!  Downtown Leland is home to some wonderful shops, galleries and eateries, and is only an hour and a half from the Applesauce Inn B&B .  The fishing town, which has been lovingly preserved, is a true working commercial fishery!  If you like whitefish, this is the town for you!

We had a great time with our cameras, it was cold, but the water was crystal clear and just beautiful!

The trip to Leland winds you through wine country, plenty of wineries to stop and check out!  The farm land and open space is just beautiful!  It is just another awesome day trip you can take from the Inn!  There are so many day trip options for you while you are staying with us!  As we love to say...we are close to everything, but away from it all!  Come up and spend some time in "God's Country".....you will not be disappointed! 

You don't have to travel far.....we have so very much in our own backyard!!!
